Cartersville Engagement Session | Katie and Anderson

A Day in Dellinger Park

I was so excited when Katie reached out to me about documenting her engagement and upcoming wedding!

Katie and Anderson’s love story began in 2017 at Publix, where they were working together and eventually started dating!

Choosing the location for their engagement session was a thoughtful process. We wanted a place that held significance for them, where they could feel comfortable. After talking about a few different locations, we decided on Dellinger Park in Cartersville, Georgia. Its surroundings and lake provided a beautiful backdrop and held significance for them since they had frequent dates there as a couple.

As we wandered through the park, I witnessed the connection between Katie and Anderson. Each photo showed the depth of their emotions, and it was evident that they loved each other in the way they interacted and spoke to each other.

Despite having a long engagement, engagement photos weren’t initially a priority for Katie and Anderson. However, after seeing the results, Katie expressed her gratitude, saying, “Neither of us were that interested in getting engagement photos at first (as you could tell since we’ve been engaged for over a year), but after seeing them, I’m very thankful we did. I know I’m going to treasure these for many years, and they’re stunning!”

Overall, it was the perfect engagement session, and I can’t wait to share some moments from Katie and Anderson’s wedding day. Stay tuned for their wedding blog, where we’ll continue to celebrate their love story and hear all about the wedding details.
