The day for Jude and Savannah’s maternity session in the mountains of North Georgia was absolutely beautiful. The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze that added a touch of freshness to the air. This session held special significance for me as I have known Jude and Savannah since high school, and it was a joy to capture this exciting moment in their lives.

Jude and Savannah tied the knot in 2020 at the enchanting Vezalay venue in Dahlonega, Georgia. Now, they eagerly await the arrival of their first baby, a boy, expected to join their family in August 2023. When they approached me for their maternity session, Savannah expressed her desire for a desert-inspired vibe, and I have to say, it suited them perfectly! As soon as Savannah told me her vision for this session I immediately knew the perfect spot and even picked some wildflowers from my backyard to add to the session! 

We began the session with more formal attire, capturing the elegance and anticipation of their journey into parenthood. Jude and Savannah looked radiant as they posed amidst the stunning mountain backdrop, their love and happiness shining through in every shot. Their genuine smiles and the connection they share created truly beautiful and memorable photographs.

As the session progressed, we transitioned into a more relaxed outfit, allowing them to embrace the natural surroundings and create a laid-back atmosphere. The versatility of their outfits ensured that they would have a variety of styles and moods to choose from when selecting images for their home art galleries. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite outfit because both choices were stunning and perfectly suited their personalities.

The session concluded with a breathtaking sunset in the mountains of Jasper, Georgia. The golden hues of the setting sun painted the sky with warmth, casting a soft, romantic glow over Jude and Savannah. It was the perfect ending to a truly beautiful maternity session, capturing the love and anticipation they have for their upcoming journey into parenthood.

This maternity session in the mountains of North Georgia was a reflection of Jude and Savannah’s love story, from their high school days to their wedding and now the start of their family. It was an honor for me to be a part of this special moment and to capture the excitement and joy that surrounds them.
